SHUTTLES FROM THE RALEIGH AIRPORT TO GREENSBORO
You are welcome to fly into either the Greensboro or Raleigh airports. From Greensboro the hotel we are using has a free shuttle, and we have a shuttle from that hotel to the American Hebrew Academy. Raleigh is a little over an hour drive from the conference, but we've noticed it is sometimes a cheaper flight. We are making arrangements for a NewCAJE shuttle to pick people up at Raleigh airport on Sunday, July 31st and/or return them to the the Raleigh airport on Wednesday August 3rd. This will cost $20 each way and you can register for it in your regular registration. This will be much cheaper than the $135 taxis. Most likely the Sunday shuttle will run in the range of 10am to 4pm, and on Wednesday there will be an end of conference shuttle (1:30pm) and if there is sufficient demand one in the morning, otherwise there will be a significant surcharge. If you plan to leave at a different time we suggest you go from Greensboro airport where transportation is free from the hotel. There will also be a shuttle on Thursday after the Post-Conference at about 1pm:
If you are arriving on a day other than Sunday, or leaving other than Wednesday or Thursday you will have to make your own arrangements to/from the airport.

Parking Information
Parking is limited at the American Hebrew Academy. In your registration we've asked you to let us know if you'll need a space. We will do our best to insure everyone has parking. If you are staying at the hotel we ask that you keep your car there and use the shuttle to get back and forth. For those driving and staying in the dorms, we will find ways to accomodate you.

Local Airports
Greensboro Airport:
Certainly the closest option to the conference, with a complementary shuttle to the nearby hotel (and from there a NewCAJE shuttle to the American Hebrew academy). You may find that flights to Greensboro are more expensive than to Raliegh.
Raleigh Durham Airport:
A little over an hour's drive from Greensboro, though you will be able to purchase a shuttle through the NewCAJE website if you are coming in Sunday, or leaving Wednesday or Thursday (see Raleigh Shuttle above for details). This option, while farther away, may be cheaper than Greensboro.
Charlotte Airport:
A two hour drive from Greensboro, the only true advantage here is that this airport is a hub to US Airways. We will not be providing shuttles from Charlotte, though the possibility of ride shares is being explored.

By Train
Amtrak does have a Greensboro station, and it's just a 20 minute drive to the American Hebrew Academy's campus. Depending on your proximity, you may find this to be a good alternative to flying. For more information on train schedules and rates, please call 1.800.872.7245 or visit Amtrak online.
